Ladies and Gentlemen, due to the current epidemiological situation, we have introduced diagnostic tests to detect SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus antibodies.

In the diagnostics used in the course of COVID-19 disease, we offer:

Molecular test for the detection of SARC-CoV-2 virus (nasopharyngeal swab / pharyngeal swab) - compliant with the references of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH)

Molecular tests show the highest sensitivity between 7-14 days after contact with SARS-CoV-2 virus, which coincides with the time of the first symptoms of infection. The molecular examination detects three genes of the SARS-CoV-2 virus: RdRP, E and the N gene. A positive test result indicates the presence of the virus. If the test result is borderline (doubtful, ambiguous) and the patient has symptoms of infection, it is classified as a probable case. The interpretation of the result must take into account the clinical condition of the patient.

Price: PLN 499

PWE ALSO CONDUCT RESEARCH OF EMPLOYEES - the possibility of testing larger groups of employees using the DRIVE THRU method at the Obornicka 262 clinic. Individual valuation. Contact:

Immunochromatography test, SARC-CoV-2 coronavirus, IgG and IgM antibodies (blood test)

Rapid test for the qualitative detection of IgG and IgM antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in serum. Qualitative result - negative or positive. A positive result indicates a past infection, and a negative result does not mean no infection. The interpretation of the result must take into account the clinical condition of the patient.

Price: PLN 70

Serological tests for antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 virus were not included in the diagnosis of COVID-19. Their results should not be used as a basis for the diagnosis or exclusion of SARS-CoV-2 infection, or to inform about the stage of infection; however, serological testing on request is valid for epidemiological reasons.

Semi-quantitative test, SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, IgG and IgM antibodies (blood test)

The test enables the semi-quantitative in-vitro evaluation of human IgG (antibodies indicative of past infection) and IgM (antibodies in the early stage of infection) against SARS-CoV-2 in the serum. Antibody testing can confirm infection in patients with typical symptoms and when asymptomatic cases are suspected. The presence of IgG antibodies indicates a past infection, and the presence of IgA antibodies indicates the early stage of infection. The lack of antibodies does not exclude the presence of the disease. The interpretation of the result must take into account the clinical condition of the patient.

Price: PLN 300

In the event of resignation from the previously paid COVID-19 test in less than 24 hours, a handling fee of PLN 50 will be charged due to the costs of providing the service.

Positive / probable results of the above tests are reported directly from the laboratory to the sanitary and epidemiological station.
